About Me

My photo
Janette
My early life was spent in the professional theatre. I was with the Royal Ballet as a child and I learned from the very best. I worked for Benjamin Britten in the first 'Noyes Fludde' and as 'Flora' in his 'Turn of the Screw'. As a teenager I spent my life in Musicals ending up in a West End intimate revue. My favorite part was 'Susan' in the famous Palace Theatre production of 'The Desert Song'. I married an Oxford GP and moved to Auckland. New Zealand gave me the opportunity I craved namely to run my own professional opera and ballet company and then to become a TV director. As a woman this was unavailable to me in UK. I produced Schoenberg's 'Erwartung' to 'Dance Tales Story Ballet' seen on BBC. Now I make DVDs on bookbinding and I record my own CD's on Garageband. The 'Songs of the Auvergne'. All available at Amazon.com and iTunes. My computer has given me the dreams of my youth
